My "Aha" Moment

A climb up Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, gave me a perspective on what I wanted to do with my life – “help people lead more meaningful lives and be of more service to other people.”

Because I help people with in-depth perspectives and life changes, below are a few central moments from my journey.

When I was 13 and 14 years old, I experienced 2 personal/life setbacks that had me questioning who I was and what life was about. For a while I didn’t know where to turn. The key for me was
to delve into my academics, music, survival trips and tennis tournaments to have action and results build character and confidence in myself.

Educational

Breakthrough

While at Middlebury I became very demotivated by mediocre grades in a school focused on grade deflation. How could I feel I actually accomplished something at university? I chose to go
to the London School of Economics and write an Honor’s thesis which turned out not only to be super personally rewarding, but also a key to helping me land my first job out after college.

Career

Breakthrough

While succeeding at banking, I found it completely unfulfilling and had no idea why. I developed a mission to explore all the ways people found self-discovery and career direction. This, in turn,
led me to study, learn from top experts and ultimately create an integrated career company helping over 500,000 people with insights to make better life, career and leadership decisions.

After leaving the world of investment banking, my career evolved from leading projects in education and social responsibility to consulting in human intelligence, and helping individuals and groups through key transitions in their lives.
