A LIFE OF
DISCOVERY
My "Aha!" Moment
A climb up Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, gave me a perspective on what I wanted to do with my life –
“help people lead more meaningful lives and be of more service to other people.”

Winston Churchill noted that people have one core theme that plays throughout their life – mine is "breakthroughs that matter."
Because I help people with in-depth perspectives and life changes, here are a few central moments from my journey.

Sometimes rough patches are actually growth opportunities
Spiritual
Breakthrough
Anxiety attacks tormented me despite thinking I had it all made in life. Feeling alone and not knowing where to turn, I suddenly had the opportunity to climb Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The journey led me to grapple with the purpose of my life. I realized that God had been there all along. Faith quieted my fears.
Tangible
Breakthrough
When I was 14 my closest cousin died and I felt like I lost God's protection. Moreover, I was told it was wrong to be gay which created in me significant anger. Delving into academics and financial success, I set out to prove my worth in the world and produced recognizable breakthroughs in my early adulthood years.
Heart-full
Breakthrough
After taking too much Advil to manage a sports injury, I developed a hole in my throat, lost 75% of my blood and almost died. During three days in the hospital's ICU, thirty-five of my friends snuck in to see me. This moment marked a new breakthrough – I realized love and relationships were what really mattered.
